Prep time: 10 mins; Cook time: 2 hours; Serves 4-5
INGREDIENTS TO MAKE BEEF VINDALOO CURRY:
- Boned beef chuck (cut into 1" cubes) or Beef crumbles - 2 1/2 LBs
- Salt (as per taste) - 1 tsp
- Flavor Temptations Indian Curry Sauce (includes garam masala spice pack) - 1
- Chopped cilantro (optional) - 2-3 stems
STEPS TO MAKE BEEF VINDALOO:
- In a baking pan, combine masala sauce, beef, salt, toss well, press down firmly, cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Bake covered at 325 deg for 60-90 minutes until beef is soft.
- Remove cover and braise for 30 minutes until beef is completely cooked .
- Stir in Garam Masala, uncover, bake for 10 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro (optional).
SERVING SUGGESTIONS FOR BEEF VINDALOO:
Serve hot over bed of long-grained or naan bread
