Aloo Mutter is also called Potato peas curry or Alu Mattar. It can be made as a dry curry or in an onion-tomato sauce

INGREDIENTS TO MAKE ALOO MUTTER:

STEPS TO MAKE ALOO MUTTER:

  1. Toast Cumin Seeds in hot oil, add onions and cook until soft and transparent.
  2. Add ginger, garlic, tomatoes, and Curry Powder.
  3. Cook until tomatoes are soft.
  4. Add vegetables, cook covered until they are soft and have absorbed spices.
  5. Add Garam Masala and simmer until sauce has salsa consistency (add little water if sauce becomes too thick).
  6. Garnish with chopped cilantro.

 SERVING SUGGESTIONS FOR ALOO MUTTER:

       Serve hot over bed of long-grained or naan bread
