I met these nice folks sampling at the Hy-Vee on Whitney Way. Their FillMyRecipe is a great concept. I enjoy Indian food, but never made it at home – too many ingredients, takes too much time to prepare, etc. Indian cooking is now so easy, with the seasonings all pre-measured and simple preparation steps. I made the Vegetable Pulav and loved it. Yesterday they were sampling again and I look forward to preparing Chana Masala. Give these products a try, you’ll love them.

Yum! I enjoyed sampling at Metcalfes’ today, and came home with packaged spices for this, the Chick Peas (Chana) Masala. Thank you, Sara! Such a pleasure meeting you and discovering your pre-measured spices for delicious, authentic Indian Cuisine! Wishing you much success!

I loved this organic Indian flavor packet! I made a dish that tasted exactly like an authentic meal I would receive at an Indian restaurant. And it was easy! I love the idea of being able to purchase a small little packet that contains all the “difficult” ingredients in a given recipe. I don’t mind buying produce like onions, or grains like rice, but love that I don’t have to buy things like cumin seeds, turmeric powder, etc. which I wouldn’t use frequently. What a creative idea for a product! If anything, I wish these were a bit cheaper. It is a small quantity of primarily spices that I think should be priced at a few dollars rather than $6 each. If you add in the cost of the other ingredients, you’d spend about $10 for a meal. I could go to an Indian restaurant for that price and not have to cook!
